Taiwan’s Economic Place in the Pacific

In commemoration of the 35th Anniversary of the Taiwan Relations Act, The Heritage Foundation, in cooperation with the Taiwan Benevolent Association of America (TBAA), will examine Taiwan's place in the regional economy and the case for its participation in the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). Taiwan continues to face challenges due to formal economic isolation with respect to regional economic architecture. Our distinguished panelists will help focus attention on this issue, as both the United States and Taiwan explore ways forward.
