Is the Age of Austerity in Europe drawing to a close, or did it never start in the first place? Is the United States finished with spending reforms? And how will the decisions taken during the next few years prepare America for the next economic crisis?
The Heritage Foundation is releasing an extensive new publication, “Europe’s Fiscal Crisis Revealed: An In-Depth Analysis of Spending, Austerity, and Growth,” and making an accompanying dataset available to researchers. Three of the report’s authors will join a U.S. policymaker to apply lessons from Europe’s past to America’s future.
