Ashley is the PR Manager and Contributing Editor of Verily Magazine, a new women's fashion & lifestyle publication that’s less of who you should be, and more of you are. Before Verily, Ashley served as Director of Outreach and Programs for the Love and Fidelity Network, where she was a leadership coach to college students on 30 campuses nationwide about how to effectively advocate for traditional marriage, the institution of the family, and healthy dating relationships at their universities.
Ashley is an international speaker and freelance journalist on women’s issues, particularly the hookup culture, building healthy relationships, and beauty in the media. Ashley earned her BA in Theology and Concentration in Music from the University of Dallas. She lives in the Manhattan and believes strongly in the power of media to shape culture.
Ashley was an intern at the Luce Policy Institute in the summer of 2008.
Kara is the co-founder, editor in chief & publisher of Verily Magazine, a new women's fashion & lifestyle publication that’s less of who you should be, and more of you are. Before starting Verily, she was on the investment team for Credit Suisse’s secondary private equity fund and has experience in corporate finance, accounting, consulting, and investment banking.
Kara speaks and writes on women’s issues, particularly on women in media and in the workplace, and on entrepreneurship. Kara was formerly the host of Catching Up with Kara and Monica on SiriusXM radio.
Kara earned her BS with highest distinction from Purdue University, where she was a member of the varsity golf team and selected as the class commencement speaker.
