The Health of the U.S.-India Market Relationship

Co-hosted by the Alliance for U.S.-India Business

Earlier this year, The Heritage Foundation released a report, “Unleashing the Market in US-India Economic Relations,” highlighting barriers to deeper free market driven economic integration. The relationship has enormous potential. The question is whether governments – particularly the Indian central government – will allow the markets to work. Concerns from the American business community have reached new levels of skepticism. For their part, Indian companies have questions about the American government’s continued commitment to open markets. Our panel of experts will assess the health of the critical economic and commercial underpinnings of the US-India relationship.
