Serving Those Who Serve

~ A Protect America Month Program ~

American veterans are the finest this nation has to offer. Today, the average member in the military has experienced more service in a combat theater than any in our nation’s history. Over 1.9 million have deployed since 2007. It is estimated that over 300,000 have symptoms of post-traumatic stress syndrome and ten percent of all personnel deployed to Iraq were wounded or hospitalized.

Americans are stepping up to the challenge of supporting their veterans. There are over 400,000 registered Web sites for donors and organizations supporting our service men and women. Many groups have difficulty reaching veterans and their families or know how to best deliver assistance. Linking those who want to help with veterans and their families is an important task that Americans must continue to refine.

Join us as our panelists discuss how Americans can better serve those who serve.
