Still the Best Hope: Why the World Needs American Values to Triumph

Conservative radio host and syndicated columnist Dennis Prager contends that humanity is at a crossroads. We must decide between American values and four basic alternatives: Islamic totalitarianism, European-style democratic socialism, state-run capitalism as in China and Russia, and chaos, the everlasting threat to global order that is already affecting various hot spots around the globe.

Prager argues that for the future of civilization American values need to triumph. He identifies three key pillars that have made America great – liberty, natural rights, and the melting-pot ideal of national unity – and explains why it is essential that we not only recommit to them here, but also export them abroad through democratic values “missionaries.” Failing to do so, he believes, will result in chaos and barbarism for America and the world.

Dennis Prager has been broadcasting on radio in Los Angeles since 1982. His nationally syndicated daily radio show is heard on 120 stations in nearly every major city in the United States. He has a syndicated column and a highly trafficked website and has launched an adult education podcast series – “Prager University” – with 10,000 paid subscribers.
