Next week, President Obama will visit Ireland, Britain and Poland. He is scheduled to arrive in Ireland around May 23 and on to London the next day for a State Visit by invitation of Queen Elizabeth II. The President will then participate in a G8 Summit followed by travel to Poland May 27.
From May 17-20, Queen Elizabeth II is also scheduled to visit Ireland for an historic State visit – the first time a presiding British monarch has visited the nation since her grandfather George V was last there in 1911.
Join us as host country Ambassadors preview these special travels. They will offer their views on the current status and outlook for their respective nation’s bilateral relationships with the United States, regional European relationships, and the primary issues and objectives that are expected to shape the President’s agenda.
