At its one-year anniversary, Obamacare continues to frustrate and confuse the medical community and American public at large. In fact, recent surveys show doctors are less optimistic about the future of medicine, with some considering exiting the medical profession entirely. Heritage's medical panel will detail their firsthand experiences with Obamacare and their concerns that this new law's onerous regulations and mandates could further exacerbate the country's physician shortage.
Representative Burgess will discuss current Congressional efforts to repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Dr. Boone will explain the harmful impact her private practice has seen from this health care law. And, Gurjeet Guram will talk about new Obamacare regulations he faces as a medical student.
Copies of Representative Burgess' new book, Doctor in the House, will be available for purchase and to be signed by the author.
