Kathryn Jean Lopez is the editor-at-large of National Review Online and a nationally syndicated columnist. Known better as "K-Lo" to Corner readers, Sean Hannity listeners, and, at one time, White House senior staff, Lopez is a regular national radio guest and guest host and speaks frequently on college campuses, especially on the topic of faith and public life. She has appeared on a wide array of television programs, from EWTN to PBS, CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC, to Oxygen.
An outspoken critic of liberal feminism, she has been honored by pro-life groups for her writings. She has written for the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Stars and Stripes, and a whole host of other publications, including Catholic periodicals such as Our Sunday Visitor and National Catholic Register. On the other end of the cultural spectrum, Playboy devoted an entire page to criticizing her cultural hangups. (There are articles in Playboy.)
A native of Chelsea, Manhattan, Lopez graduated from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., where she studied politics and philosophy.
