On April 26-27th the White House will host its Presidential Summit on Entrepreneurship with the purpose of deepening economic ties across the globe. Expanding on his vow in Cairo to strengthen the relationship between the United States and the Middle East, President Obama is holding the summit intending to build business ties across the globe. According to the administration, the summit will highlight the role entrepreneurship can play in addressing common challenges while building partnerships that will lead to greater opportunity abroad and at home.
The Obama administration’s two-day event will highlight what has already been taking place in the private sector for years: Outreach between the U.S. business community and foreign publics. Private sector outreach provides an ability to reach out to people in various ways including: science education and cultural exchange, internet and new media initiatives as well as through religious and philanthropic engagement. This event will address the relationships between the U.S. private sector and foreign publics as well as analyze what can be expected from the summit.
