The War in Iraq: Views from Two Veterans

Location: The Heritage Foundation's Lehrman Auditorium

Join us for a panel in which two veterans of Operation Iraqi Freedom reflect on their wartime experiences and discuss the need to finish the job of securing a stable democracy in Iraq.      

Pete Hegseth is a former Captain in the U.S. Army who served in 2005-2006 as an infantry Platoon Leader in Baghdad during the nationwide elections and as a Civil-Military Operations officer in Samarra.  Gabe Ledeen is a former Captain in the Marine Corps who served two tours in Iraq's Al Anbar province with a Marine infantry battalion in 2006 and 2007.
