Seven years after 9/11, the United States has yet to suffer
another major attack. Credit for this is due in part to the
efforts of USNORTHCOM, stood up only one year after the
attacks. The Command's vast area of responsibility includes
air, land and sea approaches and encompasses the continental United
States, Alaska, Canada, Mexico and the surrounding waters out to
approximately 500 nautical miles. Join us as General Victor
Renuart discusses his duties as commander of USNORTHCOM and his
thoughts on the priorities and challenges for this command under a
new Presidential Administration.
