Location: The Heritage Foundation's Lehrman Auditorium
Border security and immigration reform have catapulted into the
spotlight as two of the most hotly contested issues in this
upcoming election year. Much of the debate has occurred without a
serious discussion of the costs and options for securing the
southern border. A select panel of Heritage experts will review the
findings of their most recent research on identifying practical,
effective, and fiscally responsible options for gaining control
over our borders. Congressman Mike Rogers, Chairman of the House
Homeland Security Subcommittee on Management, Integration, and
Oversight, will discuss the implications for the Congress.
