Heritage Event: Freeing Women from Exploitation and Despair

Location: The Heritage Foundation's Lehrman Auditorium

Many Americans do not understand some of the huge problems facing women around the world - such as illiteracy, child marriage, trafficking, HIV/AIDS, maternal mortality, and lack of access to private property and capital. Nor do they realize the extraordinary commitment of the United States to remedy these problems and free women for a brighter future. Our distinguished guests will take a critical look at where we are and where we should go from here.
