In September 2004, The Center for International and Strategic
Studies (CSIS) and The Heritage Foundation assembled a Task Force
to study the roles, mission, and organization of the Department of
Homeland Security. Questions examined during the work of the Task
Force included the organizational difficulties faced by the
Department, the key homeland security missions, and the key reforms
needed if the Department of Homeland Security is to fulfill its
mission successfully. The Report of the Task Force is now ready for
release. Please join us for a review of the key findings and
recommendations.
