Remembering Tien An Men: Looking to the Future of Democratic Reform in China

Location: The Heritage Foundation's Allison Auditorium

To commemorate the fifteenth anniversary of the massacres at Tien An Men, The Heritage Foundation will host a panel discussion moderated by Amb. Harvey Feldman. Our discussants all played key roles in U.S.-China policy then, and continue to do so today: Amb. James Lilley, who was then U.S. Ambassador in Beijing; Dr. Larry Wortzel, who was Defense Attaché in Beijing; Princeton Professor Perry Link, then and now a key figure in working for human rights in China; and James Huskey who also worked at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing.
