North Korea's Legacy of Missed Opportunities

A recognized expert in issues relating to nuclear non-proliferation, Dr. Reiss was appointed to his current position in July 2003. Prior to that, he served as the Dean of International Affairs, Director of the Reves Center for International Studies at the College of William and Mary, and professor of Law and Government at the college. Additionally, he has published widely in the fields of international affairs and arms control. Dr. Reiss has served previously in the government, including as Special Assistant on the National Security Council and Consultant to the U.S. Arms Control & Disarmament Agency, the Department of State, Congressional Research Service, and Los Alamos National Laboratory.
