UN Reform

UN Secretary General Kofi Annan’s departure is a welcome event. His 10 year reign was a monumental failure, a testament to mismanagement, corruption and anti-Americanism. Under his watch the UN shamelessly appeased dictators and tyrants and stood weak-kneed in the face of genocide and ethnic cleansing. The United States and the world look forward to new leadership that might actually advance the cause of human rights and freedom.

Wage Gains on Track
Last Friday's jobs reports shows that the economy, sparked by President Bush's reduction in the tax rates on labor and capital, continues to be strong.

Future U.S. Trade Policy
The new Congress has an opportunity to expand American prosperity by working with the Bush administration on free trade.
