The Heritage Foundation – Emergency Alerts

The Heritage Foundation will open on time on Tuesday, March 4th.
We trust Heritage team members to make the right call based on individual circumstances; late arrivals with supervisor notification or unscheduled telework with supervisor approval are permitted.
During weather emergencies, we ask Heritage team members to follow the policy below:
Snow Days and Other Weather Emergencies Policy
In the event that Heritage buildings are closed due to weather or other emergencies, team members who are able to work remotely may be asked by their supervisor to telework using our virtual office and web-based email platforms.
In the event that Heritage remains open during inclement weather or some other emergency, Heritage allows each employee to assess their own circumstances, such as public transportation availability, traveling conditions, or school closings, to determine individual attendance. Under these circumstances the employee may use an accrued vacation day without prior consent from Management, but should notify their immediate supervisor as soon as possible. Staff essential to the operation of the building should make every reasonable effort to report to work on time.
