Tim Chapman is the Chief of Staff to Heritage Foundation President Ed Feulner.

In this position, Chapman advises Feulner on public policy matters and activities of the conservative moment. He also manages Feulner's office staff and Heritage's day-to-day operations.

Chapman became Chief of Staff in August 2008 – starting his third tour at the think tank. From 2006 to 2007, he was Director of Heritage's Center for Media and Public Policy, where he worked to improve communications between policymakers and the media who report on their initiatives. He also helped forge Heritage's ties with blogs and other forms of new media by helping bloggers gain access to information, policymakers and nationally recognized experts. Before that, he was Heritage's Deputy Director of Senate Relations from 2003 to 2005.

Chapman also has worked for multiple Senators — most recently with Jim DeMint as his Senior Communications Adviser. In that role, Chapman helped the South Carolina Republican become one of Congress' leading spokesmen for conservative principles on Capitol Hill. Previously, he served on the staffs of Sen. Tim Hutchinson, R-Ark., and Sen. Don Nickles, R-Okla.

Chapman is also a writer, having been a weekly columnist for Townhall.com, Human Events Online and the Philadelphia Evening Bulletin. His works also have been published at other Web sites such as National Review Online.
