Sarah Torre focuses on policy issues related to religious liberty, marriage and family as policy analyst in the DeVos Center for Religion and Civil Society at The Heritage Foundation.
Torre posts regularly about family and religion topics on The Foundry, Heritage’s policy blog, often directing readers to data and research at the think tank’s FamilyFacts.org website.
Torre’s work has been cited by The New York Times, among other media outlets. Her commentary has appeared in major newspapers and digital journals such as National Review Online, and she appears regularly on radio programs across the country. She also speaks to student groups and audience on Capitol Hill.
Torre, who joined Heritage in 2011, worked the previous year at the think tank as an intern in education policy. She received her bachelor’s degree in political science from Villanova University.
A native of Pennsylvania, she currently resides in Alexandria, Va.
