Jeffrey Trimbath
- Senior Regional Manager, Major Gift Planning
Jeffrey Trimbath is responsible for communicating the mission of The Heritage Foundation and securing major investments in Heritage’s vision of building an America where freedom, opportunity, prosperity and civil society flourish.
As senior regional manager in Heritage’s Major Gift Planning division, Trimbath focuses his work on the eastern half of the country, primarily in the Northeast (from the mid-Atlantic region to New England) and serves as a mentor to colleagues in Major Gifts. He also assists Heritage’s incoming president, former Sen. Jim DeMint, in South Carolina.
Before joining Heritage in January 2007, Trimbath served the administration of President George W. Bush at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in a variety of capacities pertaining to children and families.
He previously held positions in public policy and non-profit management in his home state of Pennsylvania, including the REACH Alliance, the Pennsylvania Family Institute, the National Fatherhood Initiative and the Pennsylvania Senate.
He holds a master of divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, Mass. He received his undergraduate degree from Messiah College in Grantham, Pa. He serves in his church leadership and regularly teaches there.
Trimbath is a native of Lancaster, Pa., where he and his wife, the former Jill Diane Brensinger, currently reside. They are the proud parents of three children – Sarah Elizabeth, Katherine Sophia and James Joseph.
