Brandon Stewart

Brandon Stewart produces online videos for The Foundry, The Heritage Foundation's rapid-fire policy blog. As senior producer, his approach is to create short web videos that make the think tank's original research and policy solutions easier to digest for the non-specialist and general public -- as well as to introduce the content to a wider audience.

Before joining Heritage in January 2010, Stewart was assistant director of the Campus Freedom Network at the Philadelphia-based Foundation for Individual Rights in Education. His responsibilities included managing FIRE's social media efforts and overseeing a grassroots program that showed college students and faculty how to defend their constitutional rights.

He holds a bachelor's degree in religion from Wabash College in Indiana. As an undergraduate, Stewart founded a conservative magazine of news and opinion. He also served in the student senate and as president of the Inter-Fraternity Council.

A native of Illinois, Stewart currently resides in Washington, D.C.
