The Center for Media and Public Policy is an investigative journalism operation at The Heritage Foundation. Its mission is to conduct original reporting on policy issues that advance Heritage’s core principles.
It accomplishes this by producing high-quality stories in print, broadcast and digital media; researching and writing about government malfeasance and corruption; exposing abuses of power by public officials in the U.S. and abroad; building strategic alliances to promote conservative investigative journalism; and training a new generation of journalists in computer-assisted reporting.
To learn more about training opportunities for journalists and bloggers seeking to enhance their reporting and research skills, visit the Computer-Assisted Investigative Reporting webpage, which includes a schedule of boot camps and course materials.
