Lauren Noyes is Director of Research Projects at The Heritage Foundation. In this position, Noyes is responsible for strategic planning of research project in domestic areas, especially education and social welfare.

Before coming to Heritage, Noyes was legislative director for Rep. Joseph Pitts, R-Pa., and a legislative correspondent for Rep. John Shadegg, R-Ariz. Before working on Capitol Hill, she taught high school-level English at Westminster Academy in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Noyes graduated from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C., in 1995 with a bachelor's degree in English. Originally from Chatham, N.J., Noyes lives in Arlington, Va., with her husband, Brad.
