Colin Stewart is The Heritage Foundation's Director of Development and manages the organization's development and fundraising operations.
These operations include donor relations, membership programs for Heritage's 320,000 members nationwide, planned giving, grant development and the members' website MyHeritage.org.
Before coming to Heritage in 2006, Stewart served as Executive Vice President for the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C. Before that, he served as Chief Operating Officer for Speer Communications in Nashville; Vice President/Western Division for New England Digital Corp. in Los Angeles; Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Morgan Creek Productions in Century City, Calif.; and Vice President of Marketing and Sales for EMI America in Los Angeles.
Stewart holds a master of arts degree in English from Oxford University and a master of science degree in economics from the University of London.
He and his wife, Katie, have two daughters and reside in Virginia, where he serves as Chairman of the Board of trustees for Trinity Christian School of Fairfax. He is an Associate Fellow of the Royal College of Organists (A.R.C.O.).
