The Retirement Iceberg Is Approaching
America's population is growing, but some segments of it are growing faster than others. Society is aging, and soon there will be more seniors, relative to younger Americans, than anyone expected 70 years ago when Social Security was founded. The program needs to evolve to meet the challenges of today and of the future. With our basic demographics so changed, looking backwards isn't a viable solution.
