DALLAS, APRIL 21, 2008—Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist Charles Krauthammer will lecture here on the future of American conservatism Wednesday, April 30, at the Hilton Anatole.

Sponsored by The Heritage Foundation’s Dallas/Fort Worth Community Committee, the speech is the first in a four-part lecture series. 

The April 30 event will commence at noon and conclude at 1:30.  The registration fee ($25 for Heritage members, $50 for non-members) includes lunch.   Dallas/Fort Worth Committee Chairman Danny Wettreich and committee member Phil Drayer will serve as co-hosts.  Wettreich expects 800-1,000 people will attend. 

Krauthammer is a syndicated columnist for The Washington Post, writing on foreign and domestic policy and politics. He is also a commentator on the Fox News Channel. He began writing a weekly column for The Post in 1985. Formerly a resident and then chief resident in psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital, he joined The New Republic as a writer and editor in 1981. His insightful writings have garnered numerous honors, including the National Magazine Award for essays and criticism in 1984, the Pulitzer Prize for distinguished commentary in 1987 and the Bradley Prize in 2004.
