Building upon a successful program held this past February – and just days in advance of the Millions More Movement event slated for Washington, DC on October 14-16 – prominent Black conservatives from across America will gather on one stage to discuss critical issues confronting Black Americans and our nation at large. The Brotherhood Organization

of a New Destiny (BOND) and The Heritage Foundation are co-sponsoring Reclaiming Our Destiny: The New Black Vanguard Conference II to reflect further upon policy questions of major significance to America’s minority communities.

Is too much government dependency destroying Black families? What role did racism play in the Hurricane Katrina response? Are establishment Black leaders exercising legitimate moral authority or simply fleecing their constituencies? How well are Black churches combating the moral crisis in urban America? How can Black Americans achieve true success? These and other questions will be addressed by our distinguished guests.

October 11 also marks the paperback release of Reverend Jesse Lee Peterson’s widely acclaimed book, SCAM: How the Black Leadership Exploits Black America. Copies will be available for purchase and to be signed by the author.
