Trade Compliance After TPA

In July, Congress passed one of President Bush?s top legislative priorities ? Trade Promotion Authority or TPA. TPA means more, higher-paying jobs for American workers, farmers and ranchers and a higher quality of life for all American families. To ensure that all Americans realize the benefits of free trade, Commerce Secretary Don Evans has made compliance with trade agreements a top priority.

Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Market Access and Compliance William H. Lash, III will discuss the Bush Administration?s efforts to ensure that America?s trading partners deliver on promises to open their markets. Please join us for this important presentation.
