On August 12, 2008, General Norton A. Schwartz became the 19th Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force.  Before assuming his current post he served as the Commander of United States Transportation Command.  General Schwartz will offer his reflections on U.S. national defense requirements and how the Air Force plans to support America’s national military objective – both during the current fight and as we head towards the uncertain strategic environment of the future.  Join us for this important presentation, part of The Heritage Foundation’s Protect America Month.
