Currently the Visa Waiver Program allows citizens from 27 countries to travel to the United States for a period of 90 days without a visa.  Some members of Congress want to abolish the program altogether because they fear it may facilitate terrorist travel.  Other members have proposed to reform the Visa Waiver Program to allow the United States to remain open to visitors while also boosting security by working in partnership with participating nations to meet more rigorous travel screening and approval standards.  Instead of restraining or ending the Visa Waiver Program, it should be strengthened with enhanced security cooperation.  Please join us as Senator Voinovich, a key leader on Capitol Hill championing positive reform, and a panel of experts discuss the security and overstay concerns and how they can be addressed.
