Faith-based ministries have long been successful in providing quality social services to the needy.  But standard process-based evaluations often fail to register these life-changing transformations. Moreover, as a result of this limited evaluation method, many potential donors are not made aware of how their investment would further these ministries.  Outcome-based evaluation is a leading tool for responding to this challenge.. Not only does this discipline document the degree to which ministries achieve specific goals, but it also helps faith-based organizations to be more accountable both to those they serve and to those who fund them, making them better stewards of their funds and increasing clients’ individual results.
