The war in Gaza, provoked by Hamas to advance its radical Islamist agenda, threatens civilians on both sides of the border and the long term stability of the Middle East.  What is Hamas’s strategy?  What are the implications of the Gaza crisis for Israel, the Palestinians, and U.S. foreign policy?  How should the Obama Administration craft a policy to defuse the Gaza crisis, enhance regional stability, and deal with the challenge posed by Hamas in the future?
