As the new Department of Homeland Security is established in the coming weeks, the role of information technology will play a major role. Can technology provide better ways to protect our country from the threat of terrorism? As more and more IT companies offer technology solutions to homeland security issues, it will be important for the new Department to determine which technologies best meets it ever changing and evolving needs. Is there a limit to what homeland security technology can and should do?
