Rea S. Hederman Jr. is a Senior Policy Analyst and the Assistant Director at The Heritage Foundation's Center for Data Analysis.
A founding member of the Center, Hederman's responsibilities include management of its work on legislative analysis and Social Security. In addition, Hederman provides statistical analysis and econometric modeling for many key Heritage policy initiatives including, poverty, income inequality, taxes and welfare. His commentaries have appeared in The Washington Times, The Washington Post and FOXNews.com. Hederman regularly appears on CNBC, MSNBC, CNN and FOX News.
Hederman joined Heritage in 1995. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia with bachelor's degrees in history and foreign affairs.
