For information, call: (202) 546-4400
The Heritage Internship Program is intended to introduce bright, innovative undergraduate and graduate students to the policymaking process and encourage them to become active and effective participants in public affairs.
Heritage allows interns ample opportunity to gain solid work experience. In addition to their day-to-day assignments, interns attend weekly seminars designed to introduce them to conservative ideas and current policy debates.
Summer and academic year internships are available. Each summer Heritage selects approximately 60 interns to work full-time for ten weeks in various departments. During the academic year, a smaller number of interns are chosen to work either part-time or full-time.
Departments offering internships including Accounting, Asian Studies, Center for American Studies, Center for Data Analysis, Center for Legal and Judicial Studies, Coalition Relations, Communications and Marketing, Development, Domestic Policy, the Executive Offices, External Relations, Foreign Policy, Government Relations, Information Systems, Lectures and Seminars, Online Communications, Personnel, Publishing Services, and Special Events.
