Building the conservative movement is the main function of The Heritage Foundation’s Resource Bank, a communications link and information clearinghouse for 530 policy organizations and more than 2,250 policy experts around the world. By placing special emphasis on a growing network of grassroots and state policy organizations, the Coalition Relations department advances the conservative cause, highlights the work of conservative organizations, builds coalitions, and organizes timely leadership meetings. Primary activities include publishing the Insider newsletter and Policy Experts: The Insider Guide to Public Policy Experts and Organizations, hosting regular policy working groups and strategy forums, organizing conferences and meetings with conservative leaders and policy experts, and handling referrals concerning conservative groups and experts. The Coalition Relations department also maintains a searchable online version of the policy experts and organizations directory at www.policyexperts.org.
