Building the conservative movement is the main function of The Heritage Foundation’s Resource Bank, a communications link and information clearinghouse for 700 policy organizations and more than 2,500 policy experts around the world. By placing special emphasis on a growing network of grassroots and state policy organizations, the Coalition Relations department advances the conservative cause, highlights the work of conservative organizations, builds coalitions, and organizes timely leadership meetings.Primary activities include publishing The Insider quarterly magazine and the biennial Policy Experts directory and maintaining their companion websites, InsiderOnline.org and PolicyExperts.org; holding regular policy working groups, briefings, and strategy forums; handling referrals concerning conservative groups and experts; and hosting the Resource Bank Meeting, an annual gathering of over 500 public policy experts, conservative leaders, think tank executives, elected officials, and public interest lawyers.
